Over the long weekend, i decide to try preparing stock with new ingredients - 大头骨. I bought 1kg 大头骨($3) from the market. I read this from another blog that she used 2-3 bones for 2.5 litre of water. Kiam siap me only put 2 bones to cook the stock, which i think its a bit diluted to my taste. Next time, i will just dump all the bones in and cook to try again.
This stock is good for freezing. Frozen stock can be thawed to cook toddler porridge. :)
Pork Stock
- 1 kg of 大头骨 (3.5 Bones)
- 2.5 Litres of water
- Slow Cooker for 5 hours
