Salmon Teriyaki

- Salmon
- Garden Peas
- Carrots
- Onion
- Garlic
- 200ml Clean Tap Water
- 2tbs Light Soya Sauce
- 2tbs Mirin (Japanese Wine)
- 0.5tsp Light Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Corn Flour>
- few drops of rice wine
- Corn Flour: Mix with 2tbs of clean tap water
- Marinate Fish and sauce for at least 1 hour in the fridge
- With a teaspoon of olive/canola oil, brown both sides of the tuna in a frying pan. Keep the marinade to make sauce later.
- Remove the salmon and place on a paper towel to soak off excess oil.
- Back in the frying pan, drop another teaspoon of oil and brown the garlic and onions.
- Add the peas and carrots, fry for about a minute.
- Add the teriyaki marinade till fully covering the veggies. Simmer for about 10 minutes until veggies are cooked. Add water if the sauce is getting dry.
- Pour in the corn flour mixture, stir to mix well.
- Sprinkle with some ground black pepper then remove from heat.
- Pour this sauce over the pan-fried salmon Sprinkle some sesame seeds then serve.
